News: No Zero in HTF s4

Tumblr broke the bad news over the weekend that Adam Senn has confirmed that he will NOT be returning to HTF s4. I am surprisingly upset by this news, given my reservations about what a season four might hold for Jude, Zero, and Zude.

I will be joining the ranks of people not watching the show, even if Jude is on because I can’t imagine how they’d write Jude without Zero while still keeping Zude. And if they decide to give Jude another love interest, I’m not here for that.

This does seem to add credence to my speculation that the renewed show will focus on new characters, possibly a new generation, because everyone got closure in the summer special, and Ahsha and Derek moved to Miama, so they’d have to undo that . . . and I’m not interested in watching that. (Unless we see Jude’s son or daughter running the Devils, which I highly doubt.)

Any reasons for Adam's absence?

I am just as devastated with the news. HTF without Zero is literally Zero for me. Used to skip everything else to just see Zude's relationship progress. So, what are the reasons for the season without Zero? Also, given Jude's past, can't think of having another guy with him. This feels horrible after such a long wait.

Same. According to Adam there were 'scheduling conflicts'. Given that he's not a well-known actor, I'm afraid that what really happened was that he didn't want to play a bisexual character in a relationship with another man, but that is just my suspicion. Whatever the reason, I'm kind of bummed, especially if Jude/Brent is going to be on the show. I'm not sure how that would work. It looks like I'm going to be ignoring anything past the summer special.

I'm inclined to believe that it might actually be scheduling issues (or maybe money, since I did see him saying in a live chat that they were "still negotiating" a couple weeks ago). He also says he has projects going on in November and December, one of them being a new tv series. He filmed the pilot back in the Spring, I think. Maybe a network actually picked it up? He may not be well-known, but he's definitely been busy.

I hope that's the case. I've been doing pretty well separating Adam's beliefs from Zero/Zude, but I couldn't help being just a bit suspicious.
