News: No Zero in HTF s4

Tumblr broke the bad news over the weekend that Adam Senn has confirmed that he will NOT be returning to HTF s4. I am surprisingly upset by this news, given my reservations about what a season four might hold for Jude, Zero, and Zude.

I will be joining the ranks of people not watching the show, even if Jude is on because I can’t imagine how they’d write Jude without Zero while still keeping Zude. And if they decide to give Jude another love interest, I’m not here for that.

This does seem to add credence to my speculation that the renewed show will focus on new characters, possibly a new generation, because everyone got closure in the summer special, and Ahsha and Derek moved to Miama, so they’d have to undo that . . . and I’m not interested in watching that. (Unless we see Jude’s son or daughter running the Devils, which I highly doubt.)

I'm starting to wonder if maybe Adam isn't the only one not coming back. Even he said "as far as he knew" Brent wasn't going to be in much of it anyway.
They announced a casting call for the new season a couple months ago, too. I wonder how many new people there will be? I'm wary that it'll end up like 'Scrubs' season 9 - so many new people that it might as well be a different show.

I wouldn't be surprised? I felt like with Derek/Ahsha's and Zude's HEA in the summer special, their story was over for all intents and purposes? I wondered if we might get new characters, maybe a second generation, but I still would've loved to see Zero taking on a mentoring role and dealing with not being #1 anymore, that sort of thing.
