Date: 2017-09-20 05:00 am (UTC)I feel Zero and Jude would fight for Zero to stay if someone tried to push him out, but what if it's their choice? What if enough time has passed since season 3 and Zero's had time to accomplish (at least most of) his professional goals. Could you see him just choosing to retire after his contract is up instead of renegotiating a new one? Jude could still work for the Devils and Zero could be mentioned ("Zero? He's at home with the babies..." ;) ). Sort of like they did with Olivia at the beginning of season two. She was there, but not in any scenes.
Then again, maybe Zude just wants to get as far away from Oscar as possible...
