Discussion: Zude in S4

James LaRosa has tweeted that Day 1 of the #HitTheFloor S4 writer's room in the books . . .

He's stoked! We're stoked! Now that it's happening, let's talk about what we want to see in S4 for Jude and Zero. I'll start:

1. I definitely don't want soap opera drama for our boys. No cheating storyline, or whose baby is it, or any of that crap. I want Zude to remain a team, and for the boys to always have each others backs.

2. To give the boys drama, I would love to have Laura show up. Either Zero decides to contact Laura or Laura somehow figures out who Zero is, maybe because Leo and Carla show up and make a stink. I would love for Zero's horrible foster family life to become public, and for him to give interviews/write a book/decide to give some kid a GOOD foster family. And maybe Zero and Laura have a tough time reconnecting, but he's determined and Jude is supportive, naturally. (Maybe Jude has a private talk with Laura?)

3. I would love to see Oscar's reaction to Jude and Zero. Please god, let Zero give it to Oscar good for being such a crap father to Jude. (If Zero has a line about being 'rather loud' I would be very happy. *g*)

4. I want to see Jude and Jelena working together for the good of the team even though they kinda hate each other and don't really trust each other. Or maybe they do? Maybe Jude and Jelena go through a crucible.

5. I want to see lots of Lionel being Jude's friend, and supporting Zude, even if she has some qualms about Zero.

6. I want Zero to become team captain and to become actual friends with his teammates.

7. A house warming party! *g*

Zude drama

I like everything you've mentioned so far. Zude drama is fine, as long as it's not between them. I like the idea of them dealing with it as a team.

They set up so many potential plot-lines last season that they really shouldn't leave them hanging. They definitely should cast someone as Zero's sister, and have him deal with his past some more (with Jude's support of course.)

More Lionel is a good!

Maybe even go a little more into Jude's relationship with his mother as well.

I definitely see Jude and Jelena working fairly well, at least on a professional level. She already has a certain level of respect for him. Maybe, if she really does take her new role seriously, he would come to respect her too, to a point. - Much to Zero's chagrin.

I do want to see Zero confront Oscar as well. Oscar's reaction to Zero being the "gentleman"-caller would be interesting. What if this realization happens during Oscar's trial or something? No doubt Jude would probably be called to testify. That could add a lot of drama. Though, I wonder if it would be too repetitive for the show, since they already did the whole Olivia murder trial thing with German?

And of course, we could always see more domestic Zude -moving, housewarming, fostering/adoption, whatever, - any of that or all of that would be great!

Your ideas are great and I agre with all of them. My wishes for season 4 would be:

Domestic Zude ( a house warming would be so cute I agree)
Jude and Jelena I want to see that dynamic working even with wariness and caution from jude's side but also a grudging respect from both of them
Jude's mom meets Zero , also a scene with Oscar Jude and his mom
Laura definitely
I would like alittle bit of drama and angst just to make our boys even stronger ( like someone being interested in jude) but not a lot just a little!
Jude faces off with Leo and Carla and Zero facing off with Oscar ( check out my story on Ao3 I'm Tanyashah)

And of course a proposal and wedding for our boys (but. Not a huge star studded one just a small intimate one with a couple of people they trust)

Wow! I had no Idea that Adam Senn said that in his live chat that they're still negotiating... exactly my thoughts If Zude dosent come back the show will be nowhere I hope James realises that. if the photos he posts on his instagram are any indication I'm pretty sure Brent will be back but we need Zude not just Jude!!! I hope they sort these things out soon and let us know who will be back.. keeping us on tenterhooks for too long.
Oh another idea was adopting..ibwouldnlivevto see the boys adopting a little boy from foster care..

Zude Season 4

I just wanted Ronald that most of what I want in season 4 for my boys is taking their relationship to a more mature level of love and trust. I'm assuming when the season starts it will show that that have been tight for awhile. So hopefully the relationship will be on a slightly more mature level.
Hope canon makes my wish come true!
